Other forums for self-published authors

Does anyone know where the busiest forums for self-published authors are. I'm looking around for a place to share ideas for those of us working from our homes, publishing and marketing our books.

Any links? Thanks!

Some of the most active forums I find are usually in Yahoo Groups. But a lot of them are active because people really only seem to post to pimp their latest project. No great tragedy as it helps get the word out. But that isn't necessarily what you are looking for, I'd wager.

The ones I visit are:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/internet-authors/
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AllWriters/
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/authors_readers/

One of the reasons I wanted to add forums for our site is that I hoped we could spark some good discussions, like the ones you are looking for. Yes we're quiet because we're new. But, that just means we need to start the discussions ourselves.

www.OnlyOneChapter.com - i-Read&Buy!

We have just launched i-Read&Buy! to compliment our site, which is designed to discover and promote new writers in association with a number of publishers and literary agents.

i-Read&Buy! is designed with self publishers in mind allowing you to promote new books and is linked to Amazon. It gives the reader the ability to look inside a book, read the first chapter, make a decision, buy it and also to give a review.

Simply upload the first chapter, the synopsis and the book's Amazon web address. It allows a publisher to promote a book and also for an author to independently promote their own book, regardless of whether they have a publisher or have chosen to go down the self-published route.

Please have a look

Thanks
